Earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Saint Mary's College, Moraga, California and currently enrolled in the Harvard Business School Owner/President Management Program (OPM 38), Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Honorary Consul General to the Philippines for the Republic of San Marino, President of the Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines, Vice President for External Affairs of the Chamber of Pawnbrokers of the Philippines, Inc. and Director of the Hotel Division of the Hotel & Restaurant Association of the Philippines. Also an active member of the Young Presidents' Organization, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, American Management Association, St. Mary's College Alumni Association, United States Professional Tennis Association Inc., Green Hotels Association and National Pawnbrokers' Association. Community and business awards have included the "Pearl" Aurelio Periquet, Jr. Business Leadership Award, the CEO (Communication Excellence in Organizations) EXCEL Award, the Global Excellence Award for Filipino Achievers and the Yound Professional Award for Business & Sports, among many others.

A keen passion for sports and years of active commitment to the development of world-class Philippine athletes have also generated notable achievements, such as Manager of the Philippine national men's and women's softball and tennis teams that won gold medals in the 2007 and 2005 Southeast Asian Games and the Philippine national men's basketball team that won a gold medal in the 2003 Southeast Asian Games. Also Manager of the current Philippine Davis Cup Team; playing owner of the Cebuana Lhuillier Softball Team (multi-titled winner of several international and local tournaments); and former President/Owner of the Cebu Gems, a team that played for a number of years in the Philippine Metropolitan Basketball Association professional league.
